ACCEF No. 13 Elementary School is located in Liu-xi
village, Xingye county,
Guangxi
province in
China. It was established in 1908. Currently there are 547 students and 19 teachers. As the
student population grows, the school is facing shortage of classrooms. They need
19 classrooms, but the school only has 13 available. The school has applied to
the local government for building 6 new classrooms, but fund approved, which is
240,000 RMB, can only afford 4 classrooms. The school still needs 90,000 RMB to
build the rest 2 classrooms. In order to let the students have the new
classrooms earlier, ACCEF decided to donate 90,000 RMB to help building the new
classrooms. The total budget is 365,000 RMB. 35,000 RMB labor cost will be sponsored by the
local volunteers.
